We proudly offer in-house therapies. Why drive when you don’t have to? We proudly partner with Odom Health and Rehab to offer residents onsite physical, occupational, and speech therapies. Our residents enjoy the convenience of walking down the hall to get their therapy and the benefit of knowing their therapists. The therapists give our nurses timely updates. Our caregivers take time to get to know each resident, so that activities can reflect their preferences and abilities. Routine health and wellness services include weight monitoring, blood pressure checks, and nurse consultations. In addition, we have support groups and resources to assist families in supporting their loved ones.

Individualized care plans address everyday tasks such as bathing, dressing, and medication management. Directed activities build strength and improve balance, with therapies to reduce and manage stress. Meals feature chef-prepared dishes that are both nutritious and tasty, and snacks and beverages are available throughout the day. Our person-centered approach to wellness paves the way to improved self-confidence and deeper connection.

The Sanctuary at West St. Paul’s Memory Care offers a truly innovative and distinctive feature known as the Lucynt Interactive System. This state-of-the-art system actively encourages individuals with memory loss to engage with their peers and/or visiting family members by utilizing both their bodies and minds. The system's interactive programs require physical movement such as reaching, touching, and stretching. Moreover, the Lucynt Technology System has the remarkable ability to evoke memories of places, people, and experiences. Not only does this system provide these incredible benefits, it also adds color and enjoyment to the experience. Thanks to the generous support of the Ebenezer Foundation, The Sanctuary takes great pride in offering the Lucynt advanced technology system. Each day, this system makes a significant and meaningful impact on the lives of our residents and/or their family members who utilize it to engage and interact with one another.

The Sanctuary at West St. Paul offers a variety of floor plan options, with competitive and transparent pricing. Check out your options!

Information from the State of MN:

Waiver Obligation: People with incomes equal to or less than the Special Income Standards (SIS), currently $2,829* per month, are eligible for EW without an MA spenddown. They must contribute their income and other applicable deductions to the cost of services received under EW. The State allows recipients to keep $125* per month as a personal needs allowance. This payment for services is known as the waiver obligation. * State of MN, 2024.

Spenddown: People with incomes greater than SIS may be eligible for EW but they will have an MA spenddown. The lead agency’s financial assistance unit is responsible for determining the financial obligation of the EW member. The member receives a notice if they have a waiver obligation or will be responsible for a spenddown.

Room and Board: EW only pays or services, residents are responsible for room and board. Some people may qualify for the Housing Support program, which pays for room and board. Contact your county case worker for details.
